Enter: Summer of the Rising Sun
This is the start to a summer of extraordinary change. For the second summer in a row I am working 12 hour days. Yes, 12 hours. I work a normal 9-5 job right now for MassDevelopment a government agency that helps with projects around MA. I like it a lot, the environment is great, the workers are friendly, and of course they keep me busy. I just started working on Monday and I think my last day is Friday. This is obviously a recipe for a Temp agency. I am working for MassDev. through R.A.D Temps, and frankly I think they are seriously underpaying me for the work that I am doing. Regardless, I need to start saving for my study abroad trip this Fall. Although I have no official word from Suffolk University or Sophia University , I feel like I am accepted and need to at least prepare mentally to embark. I hope to upkeep this blog while I work through the summer and during my one year stay in Tokyo . Excited for me? You should be! I am looking for contacts in Japan , so if you read this and someone you know comes to mind please do you best to connect us. I say this because I do no know my housing situation yet, and if I end up with something lame, I won't want to be spending more time there then I need. I mean I was looking at apartments in Tokyo , specifically ones that you can have a pet in, and its 351,000 yen or more. If you’re a US oriented person that’s about, $3,397 for a two month lease, which comes to roughly $1,700 US a month. For a place in Tokyo (a luxury one at that) I feel this is not a bad deal, any other opinions? On an entirely different note I have taken up the old Halo 3 harness and I am attempting to reacclimatize myself to my prime. I also got my Shaman on wowscape.org wowlegion private server to 60, and I am about to head into outlands for a serious set of quest lines for a lot of new gear. DoTA still happens every once in a while, but less so as of today. I know a good amount of IRL people who have Xbox live, and 360's so the community there is growing. I have not done anything old school, i.e non-tech or low tech. If any Boston folks are down for something you know where you can find me ^_^. Well I hope I did not bore you, I will see what develops later. (Moms birthday today and I REALLY need to get off the internet.)
