Waiting...

After a late night I slept in on Sunday, and woke up to the disaster that was my room. Qing and I began to clean it after talking about yesterday. I was soon called downstairs by my dad. My cousin Naveen who graduated from GW was going to move to Maryland tomorrow night. I thought about my move later in the fall and how it has become rapidly derailed. After about a half hour of talking to him (won’t see him for a year most likely, or at Chrismas), I went back upstairs to finish cleaning. Qing made a lot of progress and I was happy. I had to pour out maybe 4 cans of soda, which means people are asking for drinks that I buy and then not finishing them. Waste of my money is uncool. We cleaned for a while and continued to build up our hunger, because we had no eaten all day. At about 3, my sister called to ask if I could come to get her. We drove their saw her cat and returned. We chilled upstairs in my clean room, and then went to eat what my mom made. We ate outside in the back on the platform I helped build last weekend. My mom ate with us and although I don’t think she noticed, I was acting the fool.

We went for some ice cream afterwards, I also had to bring a TV from the basement up for Nichole. They are moving again, and my mom gave it to her. Shivani and I brought it around the block while Qing showered. I got home and showered while waiting for Shivani to come back from Tati. She returned only for a short while, we began to chill and then Earl called and said he was here. I am curious as to how serious she thinks of him, but I really don’t care to ask. When I let her out I ran into Tido and invited him in. He chilled and watched my VPCDJ as well as show me some stuff with Fruity Loops. I think the keygen came with a virus though. My computer has been acting funny since I installed. Tyler called and said he was going to come over, so Qing and I just hung out until he arrived. I was going to bring her home early and get some L.O Once he arrived I suggested seeing a movie, because I still felt guilty about keeping Qing inside all weekend during a nice weekend. We chilled for like 30 minutes and decided to go see WALL-E at Boston Common at 10:45. It wasn’t packed, but we sat pretty close up.

On the way there we took the route through Chinatown and down Washington street. After the light on Stew changed I noticed apperations appearing in T's headlights. These shadows shuffled across the street to unknown destinations, their motive to move was purely the momentum of their slack bodies ebbing them forward. Lost people? No. Homeless people? Maybe. Drunk people who looked as though they were taken hold of by zombie forces from Resident Evil? Definitely. We all looked at the faces of this diverse group of the dazed Ctown zombies of quarter to 11 on Sunday.

Wall-E is a love story between two robots whose creators never intended their paths to cross. A very unlikely relationship is created between these two very different machines. Eve, the female counter part in the movie is like a girl who is sympathetic to the shy, cute male. She takes a while to realize how much Wall-E cared for her, but once she does she goes to incredible lengths to save his life. The moral of the story was not to get obese like half orc/dwarf. We went to C.C. City after for a ton of food. I tried their hot and sour soup and again my appetite was nullified. I hope T did not think I was being wasteful, but it was the second time in a few days he took both Qing and me out and basically paid for everything except parking and movie snacks. He dropped her off and then dropped me off, grabbed his stuff and bounced. I felt it was all abrupt but it was Sunday after all. I was already falling asleep in the car, so I went right to bed.

I woke up late and left late only to find that there was some error on the Orange line. At least 100 people stood bellow at Jackson waiting for the T on Monday morning, needless to say not a good scene. When the first jam packed trained pulled up my mom rushed on, and me being the lifted, easy going guy I was walked closer only to be obstructed by a fat black girl's arm. She put it against the train on her left side to prevent people (me) from passing her and getting on the T. The only small space that was left was big enough to fit me, maybe just big enough. She stepped on and off two times, and realized her disgusting self and behavior prevented both of us from getting on. She even looked back at me to see if I noticed, but I was looking down into a book as though I did not care. I arrived at work maybe 35 minutes late, I asked Trish if Taskmaster Orc was searching for me in her typical style. Her answer simply delighted me, “Nope, actually she took a vacation day.” Wow, two days in a row without her? I must be getting rewarded. I cruised the day and didn’t do a damn thing. Went out for lunch, went to the overrated Bolloco and to Wendy’s because Bolloco doesn’t cut it for filing me up.

I finished up some loose ends online, and shopped more for Kevin’s dad computer parts. Also looked at the new GPUs that are on the market. Nvidia seems to be loosing grip with the pricing but ATI had a quality card out at an affordable price. I might just upgrade for the sake of doing so. Then use the new card (crossfire ready) and eventually put it into a motherboard, new CPU, new ram (comes with the card for $136 for 4 gb) and PSU. Will also got into an argument with me about D3 vs D2 and DS. He claimed that “lead” designers from D2 worked on DS which I liked the most, and he was incorrect and attempted to cover his foolishness by claiming he never wanted to enter conversation about technical aspects of Blizzard (the only company he has knowledge on, and shitty knowledge at that). I thought he would be following what’s going on if he is opinionating himself on it, and that’s why I asked. Since he responded like he knew, I figured he knew more and had sources to back up his claims he did not.

In the future, don’t tell me something is “fact” without demonstrating where this fact came from.

I went home and hung out with Tido. We went to Nivid’s house for a while, plated Wii watched TV ate dinner that Han cooked =). We played Mario Kart, and it’s a lot different and pretty crazy. I think I eventually became the best, but the game is so inconsistent (like all Wii games IMO) that I never really felt like I could claim domination. We left around 10:30 and I went home for DoTa. We were able to play a half of game before it froze. I was silencer again (maybe it’s a glitch?), we will try later and see. I don’t have plans for today, so I will clean the back yard if its nice. Touch up my room some, I need to buy a cordless drill for my dad also.
