Although I thought the week would be uninteresting due to my ban on people coming over, it actually turned out to be pretty damn good so far. Work is calmly winding down where I should be finishing around next week. I think Lisa (the woman I am coming for returned on the 8th or she is suppose to. I did not get a chance to write about Tuesday, but my memory does not fail me at the moment so I am in good shape. I forgot to add something funny into the last post, so I updated it accordingly look for the brown.
Enter: the Notorious pirate, Captain Black Powder Lameshanks. An explosives smuggler who I had to rendezvous with on Tuesday finally arrived. With my change purse on the dry I had to quickly negotiate to get a sixty gold stack for forty. With my firepower acquired I headed upstairs to secure it safely in my quarters. My brother also supported with a stack of his own, and we later sampled our supply in the front and in his room. We shot some rockers from the gate, from a tube, and into the dirt. Those whistlers are a lot more powerful then they look, no arguing that. I remember a legend of a boy who once set a neighbors house on fire with a single whistler. It was a house made of plastic lining and 3 of the panels ignited at impact, fire trucks were on the scene within five minutes.
We went upstairs to run some more comprehensive test on the stockpile. We attempted to summon the genie, but that failed miserably like I predicted. I never figured out how to “genie” the fireworks. We eventually used the few water proof fireworks to run some diagnostics on aquatic demolition. Our findings were quite interesting and link to the video after I upload.
I parted ways with my brother in arms shortly after the video and called T to see what the plan was. He dropped a bomb on me, he asked to see midnight showing of Hancock. It was a movie I wanted to see with some people, but not at midnight the day before work. I told him I would think about it after a little while. I played the first game of COD by myself and reflected on the idea of playing COD and being a COD player. I normally only played if others wanted to or asked me. I had an hour to kill and instead of leveling in inconsistent WoW, or playing a failing bnet game of DoTA. I opted for a messy random match of team death match COD.
T, Jamie, and Craig arrived at 10:30 and we were in town before 11. The debate for food was on, but no common ground could be found. We decided upon eating movie theater food, expensive and unhealthy, a lethal combination. We waiting around by hunting bucks, our midnight showing of Hancock was an hour away, but after a round we went to get seats. Not a full theater by any means, I would have thought more people would have come, but the sci-fi/fantasy genre is not something an actor can just make a hit with. I think due to the influence of I am Legend, Will thought this would be successful, if its not he did a good job and got paid.
I fucking hate when people talk out loud to herself to hear her own voice and draw attention to herself by enticing all those within earshot. A plethora of groans and sighs, as well as off the cuff reactions to happens in workload. For instance I left a little while ago to go through some of the company’s shit in the trash. As I return, “Oh man this again, I can’t believe it.” To me, that’s too thought out to be a verbal slip. I might say “wtf” aloud suddenly at home, but I think everyone does that to a level. Maybe its like when you click on a peon, they ALWAYS have something to say: “zugg zugg.”, “something need doing?”, “work, work.” This is an interesting development.
After the movie we went to my house and everyone came up for about forty minutes. We talked about random things that I can not recall. Tyler asked for CoD but it was late, and at 2:40 they left and I remained with my infected computer that I have been franticly trying to repair while people are over. *Sigh* Until the next battle…
